Spring Term

Welcome to Bubble 4 Home Learning Page

The guidance and activities, outlined below, have been created to help support your child with home learning. We appreciate every family is unique and faces their own challenges and wish to support you as best we can. Whatever suggestions we have made, you have the freedom to make this work in a way that is best for you and your family.

As we enter lockdown we are offering children the opportunity to participate in live streamed lessons. As a teaching staff we have worked together to try and minimise overlap with other classes to support families with more than one child in school. However, as you will appreciate this is not always possible. Timings will be reviewed and updated on a weekly basis. We encourage your child to attend as many of these sessions as is possible. The timetable for Bubble 4  children is below with the live sessions clearly marked in red. Your child will need to log onto their Microsoft Teams account and click the link in the posts to join the lesson.

A video for science can be found at:

https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/what-are-medicinal-drugs-68vk0e

In this lesson, we will learn what drugs are and therefore what medicinal drugs are. We will learn about different examples of medicinal drugs, including painkillers, antibiotics and anaesthetics. Finally, we will apply our knowledge of medicinal drugs to different scenarios. For some people this will be a sensitive topic. If that applies to you, you may want to do the rest of this lesson with a trusted adult nearby who can support.

Get Active!

You will see on the timetable that each day includes an hour for you to get active. The activities on the timetable are suggestions only - you might go for a family walk, bounce on your trampoline, ride your scooter or bike, play football in the garden or create a circuit around your home or garden. It's important for your health and well-being to keep active and it can be fun too! Aswell as this, Mrs Caulfield has recorded some PE lessons for you to access on a Friday.
