Some of the listed events may not go ahead if there is not enough interest. The events we will provide buses for are noted above therefore for the other events it may be that we need to request parent transport. Without enough transport we also may need to cancel events. Therefore, can I please ask that letter replies are returned promptly to allow smooth organisation of the events. For events held at schools (usually Vale) during the school day I'm afraid that parents are not allowed to go into the school, or therefore watch the event, as there is a safeguarding issue to manage so many visitors onsite. However if the event is being held after school time parents are more than welcome to watch but please beaware that there may be limited audience space if the event is a busy one!

Latest news

We have had another successful half term of sport. We started the half term with two incredible football peroformances where both our Y5/6 girls and Y3/4 mixed teams won their Brigg cluster competitions. We also took a team of U11's to the Scunthorpe United tournament and although we came up against some physical teams with older children, our boys stood their ground and did us proud. Fantastic team work.

It was great to see some KS2 children ask to take part in a badminton event where they learnt some badminton skills which they then aplied to some small games. All children made excellent progress and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

We have ended the half term with a trip to the Cross Country Championships. All children ran brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of their achievement.

In KS1 we have had a team of children take part in a benchball competition and the progress they made through the competition was amazing to watch. Also Woodpecker class have enjoyed a trip to the Pods to play dodgeball and Penguin class have been to Ancholme Leisure Centre to take part in the Get Glowing event.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents for their continued support with transport and support at these events. It means so much to the children to have you there.
