Collective Worship Council

Our school Collective Worship Council met for the first time on Wednesday 8th March 2017.

We discussed the roles they will play, which include; helping to plan what they learn about during worship, choosing relevant hymns and music to suit the mood, helping plan church celebrations and collecting children's comments.

At the end of every worship children are selected to write their thoughts but it was felt the children needed more guidance to help them reflect on the worship. So the CWC were introduced to the 'Head, Heart, Hand approach, which has been adoptedand will be introduced to our school family w/b 13th March 2017.

Head - What did worship make you think about?

Heart - How did worship make you feel?

Hand - What will you do differently?
